Pasquale Reino, DO

Pasquale Reino, DO is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. He is the only surgeon in Brevard county performing the lateral subvastus approach knee replacement. Dr. Reino is extensively trained in joint reconstructive surgery and general orthopaedics including shoulder, elbow, hand, and trauma care. His interest is mastering his skills in less-invasive, fast-recovery joint replacement of the knees and hips.

Dr. Reino earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Westminster College and a doctoral degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, both in Pennsylvania. Dr. Reino completed his orthopaedic residency at a Cleveland Clinic hospital in 2012. After residency, Dr. Reino served in the US Navy. He worked at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center treating service members returning from Afghanistan with complex war injuries. Providing care for returning war heroes was very rewarding, personally and professionally. Dr. Reino was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan and the Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Reino rose to the rank of Lieutenant Commander, and was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal, and two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals.

Since 2017, Dr. Reino has practiced in central Florida. He relocated to Brevard county in 2022 with his wife, Mona. Dr. Reino joined Beyond the Scope Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in 2023 because he strongly agrees in their mission to improve patients’ conditions and quality of life by utilizing the most advanced, least invasive treatment options.
